Trivandrum
Overview

The capital city of Kerala, Trivandrum is known for its trading history
dating back to 1000 BC. It occupies a position along the southern coast of
India. The city was once an important part of the capital of Travancore.
Trivandrum or Thiruvananthapuram attracts travellers on account of its

May to November is the time of monsoons. You can make a trip to the city

Just at 65 km from Thiruvananthapuram, Ponmudi is a scenic hill station.
Fresh air, meandering pathways and wooded environs render the spot
irresistible for travellers.
» Neyyar Dam
Located 30 km east of Thiruvananthapuram, the place was founded in 1958. To
add to the delight of tourists, it has a watch tower, a crocodile farm, a
lion safari park and a deer park. At the Neyyar Sanctuary, you can spot
wildlife species like gaur, sloth bear, Nilgiri tahr, sambar, elephant, deer
etc.
